Wow! We are so excited! We are THRILLED to report that Mia is responding tremendously to this treatment! She seems so bright, so alert and aware. She is saying more and more every day and is beginning to produce her own 2-3 word sentences - combinations of words she knows but that we have not actually said to her. She is taking us by the hand and leading us to things that she wants to show us. Her greetings and farewells are more genuine. And she is noticing the emotions of others around her even more than before. Her bowel motions are "normal" now, not lose and foul smelling. It's amazing.
So, I just wanted to let you know that things are going well. It is a new thing that is taking Mum (me) time to get used to but, when I see results like this it is SOOOO motivating. Thank you!
My 7 year old son has Asperger Syndrome and prior to starting a program of Bio-medical intervention with Leila Masson, exhibited high anxiety and various behavioural problems. Leila started with a comprehensive range of testing which allowed her to clearly identify deficiencies and imbalances which could point to the underlying causes of the anxiety and behaviours.
Once my son began his tailored program of additional supplements and removal of gluten from his diet, we began to quickly see the benefits. His anxiety and behavioural issues began to reduce to a more manageable level.
One of the biggest areas of improvement was in the area of sleep. Prior to visiting Leila, my son would take 2 to 3 hours to go to sleep and would wake continuously through the night. We now have a son who is asleep 30 minutes after lights off and generally sleeps through the night.
Having dealt with many professionals over the years, it has been an absolute joy and pleasure to have found Leila. She has a deep understanding of the day-to-day pressures parents of children with behavioural problems face. She has compassion and understanding; yet at the same time a highly professional manner. Bio Medical Intervention will never cure my son’s Asperger Syndrome, but will ensure he is in the best possible position to cope with the Neuro-Typical world. Our son Harry has been on a biomedical programme for 2 1/2 years, along with Relationship Development Intervention (RDI). We have certainly seen improvements due to the biomedical inventions - with his general health and wellbeing, mood and language processing. The little boy we love today is far more confident, less overwhelmed and the personality we saw only fleetingly in his most withdrawn phases is now evident all the time. We would certainly not promote biomedical as a cure-all but would recommend that any parents of a child on the spectrum give it a try.
I had the privilege of meeting Leila Masson after 10 months of being in New Zealand and battling with my daughter’s reoccurring autism. I had been hearing about this amazing lady from other autistic families for a while and eventually took the plunge and drove Alice to Auckland.
Leila saw Alice and I, and spent well over our allocated time thoroughly going through our history of supplements and testing which spanned the seas from UK to NZ. We were at breaking point financially with the supplements that 3 members of our family were taking. Leila altered the supplement list and gave me specific instructions as to when each medicine must be taken, and exactly how much.
As Alice dissolved into her “healing crisis”, Leila guided us through the 2 weeks, and then my daughter stated to emerge again, the daughter I hadn’t know for the best part of a year. Leila emailed me and offered support constantly, never tiring of my questions. I wanted Alice’s recovery plan to be perfect, so I asked everything. I always got answers. I sit back and marvel that my daughter is now in a main stream school, coping well and loving it. For the first time in her life, I came through the summer holidays and wished she and I had had longer to spend together.
Leila has guided us into testing Alice to find out exactly what is going on in her body. As the tests results come in I am confident that we can remove the autistic tendencies that have re-emerged in NZ.
Leila is an angel, beautiful inside and out. She actually wants to help heal our precious children. There are practitioners out there that know how to help us, but they also know how to charge. Unfortunately us biomed parents cannot usually fund the never ended supplements and testing. Leila gives our children a chance. She understands that we aren’t bottomless pits. She will work with you and your budget to get the best that you can afford for your child.
The world of autism and biomed needs more Leilas. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful lady’s help in returning my daughter to the world.

The biomedical approach has worked well for our 13 year old son who is on the autistic spectrum. We have been able to improve his health and quality of life tremendously and he is now able to lead an active and meaningful life. Sloan has settled into school with amazing ease this year. He has a new school and a new teacher aide and has not come home vomiting, screaming or just ornery once. I am positive this is due to the supplements as well as some normal development over the holidays. I am not sure if you are aware but Sloan was withdrawn from school 3 weeks earlier than the rest last year as he was suffering from sensory issues and severe anxiety to the point that we thought we would need to homeschool.
The only thing that has changed is the Biomedical treatment. We expected the same anxieties and sensory issues at the new school. Last Friday night he was on stage in front of 200 people beside a speaker singing his little lungs out to gospel music, he had no adult support during the 2 hours and had the time of his life, he was just glowing (mum was a blubbering mess). I feel crazy saying that the supplements have done this but I am POSITIVE it all started improving with the Zinc and got even better with the magnesium Oxide and once his bowels were set straight it has been heaven. Our gentle sweet son is back - no more screaming, defiant monster!

Mason (4yrs) started his biomedical treatments with Leila only 5 months ago, to help him with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. During this period, the results we have seen have been fantastic! His behaviour has improved greatly, in that he is a calmer and happier child that rarely has any "melt-downs". His stimming has reduced and amazingly his speech has improved hugely. This process has been life changing for not only us as parents but most importantly, for Mason.

My 8-year old daughter had a diagnosis of ASD and had all typical problems associated with this disability, including frequent stimming, sleep difficulties and poor concentration. In August 2007 we went to see Dr Masson and she placed her on a gluten-free dairy-free diet in conjunction with nutritional supplements. The results were excellent, after 3 months my daughter began contributing at school, developed friendships and generally improved all over. Her school teacher and her therapist were asking what the cause of such incredible progress was!
We had similar good results with my 9-year old son who was overweight and suffering from asthma. After few months of dairy-free diet and nutritional compounds prescribed by Dr Masson, my son lost almost 6 kilos, he hardly uses the inhaler now and overall is a much happier boy.
We are very grateful for the professional help we received from Dr Leila Masson. We live in the Wellington area, where we could not find similar services, and had to travel to Auckland to see Dr Masson but have no regrets, the results of the biomedical treatment were nothing short of miraculous.
